Once Before I Sleep

May I know the pleasure of you….the need outweighing the want of you
A singular desire to be enveloped by you..
Every fiber of me wishes to surrender to this desire, to know the touch of you and only you
Once before I sleep

Shall I give into the fallacy of this solemn longing for your presence
Not wanting to collect my thoughts…but give myself to you completely
Never disturbed by the thought of rejection…but anxiously awaiting the inevitability of execution…Once before I sleep

May I know your caress…strong and yet gentle…your kiss, the taste of your breath, the beating of your heart next to mine…the swaying of our bodies
To pause and glance into each other eyes knowing what the height of this moment might bring
Once before I sleep

To feel your warmth as though from a fever connecting us, each to the other.
Are there words to express the experience of this encounter?
Can this be reality for us both the freedom of release, much more than a moment of passion but the beginning of our eternity together, sublime unconditional love, simplistic and enduring, shall we?
